The FDU lets you set operation parameters in units you’re familiar with, such as m³/min, bar, Pascal, Celsius, and more, making monitoring more intuitive. The removable control panel features a copy function for easy transfer of settings between FDU units. You can switch between local and remote control with the push of a button. The built-in programmable logic, comparators, and timers often eliminate the need for external PLCs or relays, simplifying system integration.
Available in IP20/21 and IP54 Versions
The Emotron FDU comes in IP20/21 and IP54 models. The durable steel construction of the IP54 version allows you to install the drive close to the application, saving on cabinet costs and reducing the need for long motor cables. Units with 300-1,500 A (IP20 modules) are also available in compact CG-designed IP54 cabinets. The IP20/21 series (25-365 A) is optimized for control cabinet installation (IP20) or wall-mounting in electrical rooms (IP21). The FDU’s robust, compact design offers easy access to power terminals and an extended temperature range of up to 131°F (55°C).
Simplified Maintenance
In the event of a process or drive issue, the Emotron FDU provides a full status report for each fault in its event log, helping you quickly identify the cause and take corrective action. Maintenance is simplified thanks to the minimal number of easy-to-access mechanical parts and fold-out power modules in higher-powered units.
