EMOTRON FDU VFD

The Emotron FDU offers a range of customizable options to tailor its functionality to your specific needs. You can combine up to four different options for maximum flexibility.

• Multi-Pump or Compressor Control
  Connect up to three I/O boards to control as many as seven pumps or compressors without the need for PLCs or additional equipment.
• Communication
  Communication options include fieldbus via Profibus, DeviceNet, CANopen, and Industrial Ethernet communication through Modbus/TCP, EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, and Profinet. You can also connect via RS232 or RS485 with Modbus RTU for serial communication.
• Motor Protection
  You can connect PTC and PT100 sensors for motor temperature monitoring and process feedback, all without needing an external transmitter.
• Safe Stop
  This option ensures safe mechanical maintenance by preventing unexpected starts, meeting the IEC 62061 SIL2 and ISO 13849 safety standards. No additional contactor is required.
• Liquid Cooling
  Units with currents starting at 90 A are available with liquid cooling, which lowers operating and maintenance costs. This also allows for a higher protection class, above IP54.
• EMC Protection
  A C2 EMC filter for first-environment applications is available as a factory-installed option, ensuring compliance with electromagnetic compatibility standards.
• Reduced Harmonic Distortion
  A 12-pulse rectifier reduces harmonic current distortion cost-effectively, minimizing power losses in equipment like transformers and conductors. This also eliminates the need to oversize these components.
• IP21 Top Cover
  For units mounted on walls in electrical rooms, an IP20-rated top cover drip protection is available for 11-160 kW units.
