Operator Training Software

Dredge Operator Training Simulator

Tri-Sphyre’s dredge operator simulator is a high-fidelity training platform that replicates the real control environment — HMI screens, instrumentation, and operational scenarios — without touching live equipment. Built specifically for cutter suction dredge operations, with trailing suction capability in development.

New operators typically spend their first weeks learning on live equipment, where mistakes are costly and dangerous. The dredge simulator moves that learning curve off the dredge and into a safe, repeatable training environment — so operators arrive at the controls already knowing how the system responds.

Training Scenarios

Operators train across structured scenarios that mirror real dredging operations: normal production operations, cutter head and swing optimization, pump fault response, emergency stops, ladder management, and slurry density control — the real situations that determine whether a new operator succeeds or struggles.

Why Simulator-Based Training

Simulator-based training reduces onboarding time, cuts down on equipment damage caused by operator error, and standardizes training across your fleet — all before a new hire ever sits at the controls of a live dredge.

Built by the Team That Commissions Your Equipment

The dredge simulator is developed in-house by Tri-Sphyre’s own engineering team — the same team that designs, builds, and commissions dredge control systems in the field. That means the simulator reflects how your equipment actually behaves, not a generic approximation.
